Blogger continues to taunt me. My "dashboard" now greets me with "Your new version of Blogger is ready!" But if I attempt to have Posthuman Blues "raptured" into the new version I get a message informing me that I have too many posts and will have to continue waiting.

Surely there's a support group . . .

"Uncle Singularity does not want you!"

Apparently.

Mac:

As I said before, I made the switch weeks ago to Beta, and have had no problems. Indeed, it works better and faster than ever now.

It's the same old problem: My blog is too long and they'll get back to me. Or so they say.

Good for Paul, but I've found the new version to be a PITA. Especially since the bitchy thing won't keep me logged in. :oP

Really? Strange!

What I really love about the new version, is that not only is it faster than Wordpress (yeah, you heard me right!) but Google is also giving away free hosting with it as well on your own custom domain! (without losing any features).

Be patient Mac...or if you can't wait, you could manually repost all of your posts on a new beta/blogger blogspot domain and redirect the domain to your new beta/blogger account (I did that to like almost 400 posts I think...trust me, it was well worth it).

Upgrade to the new blogger, the service is much faster, but for the love of GOD, do NOT upgrade your template! You'll lose all your customizations, and you'll have the devil's own time trying to restore them, because the HTML code is *just* different enough to throw you off. I lost half a day to it yesterday, and was...vexed.

I've started work on my blogs, and right away was able to get them on the new version. But right now while I try to comment on yours I get told I have to be signed in to my gmail, even though I already am, and then once I do that again I have to go back and open up the comment box all over again.

And no, my blogs aren't available to look at quite yet. I've managed to screw up my shoulder in an utterly stupid fashion, and what with the visit to the doctor, then the orthopedist, and getting totally wasted on last night's pain medication, I haven't had time to do anything further than sit here looking about as lively as a pet rock.

What difference does the new interface make anyway?
