My own "raccoon experience" occurred when I owned a house on a wooded lot with an open screened-in porch between the garage and the house. One evening, I was just sitting reading on the porch when all at once I noticed this raccoon standing on his (or her) hind legs with paws against the screen STARING at me -- almost like a person might. And the damn thing just kept standing there staring until it finally just got bored, I guess, and left. That's why the buggers survive so well -- they're frighteningly intelligent....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
