Now's your chance to listen to the late Edward Gorey read "The Gashleycrumb Tinies"!

I'm prone to fits of laughter when reading Gorey's books; he achieved a singular alchemy with his combination of dour rhymes and faux-Victorian illustrations.

I don't think that's really Gorey, though. I checked the YouTube entry, and I think it's just some random guy. It's still amusing, though.

Then again, now that I've listened to an interview with him, maybe I'm wrong, and the random guy just put in the music. *shrugs*

Katie--

I think my favorite is the kid "done in by a thug." Or maybe the kid "embedded in ice." So many choices!

My favorite would be:

"K is for Kate who was struck with an axe."

For obvious reasons :o)
