Check it out: the cover art for Frank Herbert's "Dune" expediently recycled for Philip K. Dick's ingenious "The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch." (I own the featured edition of "Stigmata"; henceforth, I'll be on the lookout for its "Dune" counterpart.)

Wow, how ridiculous. I recently bought copies of the three original Dune novels (despite owning more recent editions) just because of those classic retro covers. I actually own the one featured there!

I love those weirdly evocative illustrations, despite the inaccuracies concerning the actual subject matter (ie. the blue-in-blue eyes represented merely as normal blue-irised eyes).
