Before I arrived at the science fair, I planned to engage some of the children and parents. I wanted to ask them about creationism and education. Once I got there, however, I was overcome with a sense of pity for the children. They stood around the suburban mall, in the prime of the most awkward years of their life, being forced to preach blather.

I pity the little children subjected to such faith-based brainwashing.
Don't waste too much pity; as long as they move to the Midwest I'm sure they'll be just fine.
Ah, but will they be? Or will they just believe it so 'cause the bible tells them so? Big diff.
Big wheels keep on turnin'.
Disgusting, terrifying and just plain wrong. There should be laws against this kind of backwards stepping ideology. Kinda like a "hate law" ;)

Depressing, truly depressing. What's especially depressing, in fact, is not so much the absurdity of Creationist claims being parroted by kiddies, as the fact that they dress this religious dogmatizing in the trappings of science.
It's like, look folks, if you don't BELIEVE in science to start with, then why are you dressing your idiocy up to LOOK like "science." Why? Why? WHY???
