Why is it that even when you describe your car, you manage to invoke a cadence to the phrasing that makes it sound like it belongs in a cyberpunk movie?

Well, it's not quite "necrotic" (although one side of the rear bumper certainly is due to rear-ending a lamp-post in a supermarket parking lot ... don't ask!)
Personally? I want the "Batman Begins" urban tank with a phalanx of 50-mm machine guns, for when traffic ahead of me gets, uh, a little pokey, and I have to assert and enforce my road space dominance! Hmm. Maybe paint-ball machine guns would be more...humane. Heh!
