I picked up my desktop computer from "repair" yesterday. Since I was in the vicinity of Half-Price Books, I ducked in and emerged with three rarities: "The Starseed Transmissions," "Angels and Aliens," and Ian Watson's cult UFO science fiction classic "Miracle Visitors."
I noticed they had brand-new copies of Lem's "Solaris" going for $2.00. George Clooney's on the cover. Even so, that's a deal.
