I think there's certainly room for the ET hypothesis, but a lot of other equally intriguing -- and perhaps more likely -- hypotheses have been excluded in order to keep it alive and kicking. As Jacques Vallee has said, there's a very American need to "kick the tires" when it comes to the UFO problem. 21st century UFO researchers need to move away from "Newtonian" ufology and embrace the quantum.
