Why do the apes let the humans in their zoos wear clothes?
In the book they don't. I've always been troubled by the fact that the humans in POA (the movie) are supposedly mindless animals who eke out a living by stealing fruit from the apes' farms, yet *wear animal skins*. I guess the writers couldn't handle nudity and decided that "caveman" was good enough.
And I agree wholeheartedly with Paul that all of Tim Burton's visual whimsy couldn't salvage an incredibly weak (and inconsistent) movie.
