A.J. Gulyas has posted a generous and comprehensive
review of my 2004 book,
"After the Martian Apocalypse." While his criticisms of the book are absolutely on the mark, I feel compelled to exonerate my editor, Patrick Huyghe of
Paraview Pocket Books. My approach to writing "Apocalypse" was a bit scattered, leaving the redundancies mentioned by Gulyas. In this case the oversights were truly my own.
Noted! Thanks for the link. Any sort of a timeline for the Cryptoterrestrial book?
ReplyDeleteny sort of a timeline for the Cryptoterrestrial book?
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I get it done. :-)
Seriously, though, I've been stalling a little. I'm still working on it and hope to have a first draft by the end of the year -- maybe sooner.
Outstanding! Looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI like the material I have so far. I hope to give "The Cryptoterrestrials" some of the narrative continuity "Apocalypse" lacked.
ReplyDeletePashaw, Mac--your undue modesty is showing. AJG's blog is also quite intelligent, and I too would recommend it. Good stuff!
