Given that my local Wal-Mart started playing Christmas songs a couple of weeks ago, I think that pictures captures the holiday spirit perfectly. And a happy bah, humbug to you too!
Apt portrayal of the emotion the holiday season envokes for some. Glad to see I am not the only one dreading the ritual of gorging on food with a group of people I only share genetics and history with. Should I really be forced to submit to hours of football related talk and watch the shameless display of affluence?

I drove through a neighborhood tonight where 3 different houses already had their Xmas lights up...

ReplyDeleteI'm eschewing the usual Thanksgiving ritual entirely. Who needs turkey when you can have an espresso macchiato?

ReplyDeleteI bet at least a few have noticed. (Don't tell anyone, but I used it for my annual Thanksgiving post a couple years ago.)
