Biog Dog is definitely an advanced research project! Watching it go through its paces never ceases to amaze me. We're seeing the AT-AT walker from Star Wars in embryo.
I'm already thinking, "How can my squad trip this thing up if it's after us (WOLVERINES!), and I notice it can't be knocked down. It bounces right back up, and falling to it's knees don't hurt it.
I agree with Katie that "Big Dog" is definitely creepy!
Only I'd add two large translucent insectile wings (and a muffler--damn that thing's loud!), and rename it "Big Fly." Somewhere, Vincent Price is spinning in his grave. "Help me, help me! Arrghgh!" Thud!

ReplyDeleteIt also reminds me of a Pierson's Puppeteer.
Good God, that thing is scary looking.
ReplyDeletekatie -- It's actually two really skinny guys in a robot suit.

Sweet baby Buddha's left nut - that is cool as hell, but the sound is absolutely obnoxious.
