There is no way you can read this article without feeling that the author wrote it as a joke. If it is not a joke, the author is truly narrow minded. Who is he to judge/decide/say/predict etc. what the other planets look like ? Not to mention faster than light travel, time travel, different Alien species ...
There are things in the universe we wouldn't even notice, let alone understand.
