    Also : as the video footage loads up (buffering?) the little icon in the center of the frame is two little undulating orbs, blue and red, right over the black cat's bung-hole. Very mysterious, what could it mean?

    EBE? Extraterrestrial Biological Entity? Weird, I just heard that term used in the Roddy Mcdowell-narrated, audio book version of Strieber's "Transformation" earlier today.
