I've given the mactonnies.com start-page a minor facelift. I'm not a Web designer by any means, so I usually try to get by as simply as possible. Let me know if you like it.

wow...interesting post by chillandchill! an email might be more appropriate for solicitation purposes.

basic black is always a classic, always in style, and nearly always a safe choice. your new start page is simple and elegant, nice work.

  3. Mac:

Good design. I hate homepages that foist a ton of info at you all at once. Your design is simple, easy to navigate. The white letters on black works well (unlike dark red letters on light turquoise or other weird combos I've seen).

Also, it doesn't take forever to download a page for someone like me still stuck with a dial-up connection.

  4. Love it! I'm a sucker for that particular image, especially in a simple, tasteful context. Nice.

Jeez-I miss the cartoon with the cracked open brain. I'm a softy for stuff that looks like it was scribbled in a sketch book...

    Works well Mac, it fits!

BTW, how much PKD have you read?

I'm just now going back through VALIS and Radio Free Albemuth. I didn't understand them the first time of course.

    Now he's relevant.

  7. Thanks for the feedback! Guess I'll stick with it!

    Dad--

I've read just about all of PKD's novels. There are a few posthumously published novels I haven't yet found.
