It looks like the crow bent the freaking wire (or bent it more) to make a hook so it could loop it around the handle of the thing in the tube and hoist it up.I always thought crows were smart. Maybe that's why they make people nervous.
There are studies which suggest that crows are actually even smarter than chimpanzees.
