"A stunning survey of the latest evidence for intelligent life on Mars. Mac Tonnies brings a thoughtful, balanced and highly accessible approach to one of the most fascinating enigmas of our time."
--Herbie Brennan, author of Martian Genesis and The Atlantis Enigma
"Tonnies drops all predetermined opinions about Mars, and asks us to do the same."
--Greg Bishop, author of Project Beta
"I highly recommend the book for anyone interested in the search for extra-terrestrial artifacts, and the political intrigues that invariably accompany it."
--David Jinks, author of The Monkey and the Tetrahredron
"Mac Tonnies goes where NASA fears to tread and he goes first class."
--Peter Gersten, former Director of Citizens Against UFO Secrecy

"Satan's Birthday" is one of my favorite holidays, even though I never "do" anything in particular. I guess I like the fact that, once a year, you can walk by a mainstream store and see mock- skulls and tombstones marketed alongside the usual boring stuff -- very satisfying.
I went to a dance Friday, I came as a demon, red jacket, scary mask, weird thing is, it felt like the real me!?!
Any way happy Hallowz Eve all, you are a great bunch of misfits and outcasts, been fun tossing around strange concepts.
Thanks Mac for the portal.
We got some mainstream holidays coming up, and we need to get thru them with out going sane, so let me take this special day to wish each one of you a strange bizarre Danny Darko – Beetle Juice kind of life experience for the of the rest of the year.

“You can't scare her, she's sleeping with Prince Valium tonight.”
Since I'm Wiccan, all the times I look like a normal soccer mom in public are my costume. ;)
Last night I went as Depleted Uranium. In Woodstock they close the main street through town for a few hours, while everyone comes out in costume and saunters around.
I dressed in black, painted my face as a skull. Wore a baby backpack, with a toddler-sized skeleton in it, dressed in a little sailor suit dress. She was holding a baby bottle labeled DEPLETED URANIUM.
Carol--
Brilliant.
