Whilst I agree wholeheartedly about the wasted affection, I can see the attraction of this bot-cat for parents whose small kids crave a pet - no food bill, no litter tray to clean out, no grooming, no shed fur - a truly low-maintenance addition to the family.
Ugh. I think the 'bot cat is just creepy. Maybe if they'd done something with the eyes to make it look less like a corpse it might be better, but instead it comes off looking like a zombie cat.
Sorry, but I'll take my real live (and obnoxious) cats over the robot any day.
And your two sweeties? Totally cute. That picture of Ebe is just adorable.
