I have 3D glasses (from and old Mars book, no less) and some of those images, including that deep crater, look impressive.
The "face" indeed looks like a butte. It seems like the highest point is at the "bottom," in the "chin" area.
I never realized how high the "base" area is. The rounded, 3D sheild-like shape is intriguing, but from these photos the butte looks asymetrical. The pages note something about parallax, so maybe it looks uneven due to image/3D processing.
Yea bo! I looked at both the "cross-eyed" and 3-D glasses versions and yeah! I agree with some of the Meta Research forum on the 3-D face. In 3-D, the nose, especially, looks exactly like a nose! If it the Face IS a geological mega-simulacrum, it's certainly one of the most "accurate" sculpture-like geological forms in existence.
