"A stunning survey of the latest evidence for intelligent life on Mars. Mac Tonnies brings a thoughtful, balanced and highly accessible approach to one of the most fascinating enigmas of our time."
--Herbie Brennan, author of Martian Genesis and The Atlantis Enigma
"Tonnies drops all predetermined opinions about Mars, and asks us to do the same."
--Greg Bishop, author of Project Beta
"I highly recommend the book for anyone interested in the search for extra-terrestrial artifacts, and the political intrigues that invariably accompany it."
--David Jinks, author of The Monkey and the Tetrahredron
"Mac Tonnies goes where NASA fears to tread and he goes first class."
--Peter Gersten, former Director of Citizens Against UFO Secrecy

Nice...I have always liked Pickover and his daily picks and now there you are too. You pick'em pretty good as well.
Michael
Yes, he does. Thanx and a tip of my pixelated skull-cap sombrero to me. I thought that article had a familiar ringing tone. 5 pm?
I also liked the Pickover pick two down (and across?), "Just say 'no' to toad licking"--I say, we all have the "right to toad"--ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!!!

(...couple little in jokes there...) 8^}
What a great find! I have to say, in its eclecticism of the bizarre, the blog seems to some extent modelled on PB. (I especially liked the story of the guy who makes armor for pit bulls and a variety of other animals as well. As a squirrel afficianado, I found the photo of the armored squirrel holding its tiny sword is definitely oddly appealing!) Thanks, Mac, but hopefully you're still saving the REALLY good ones for PB!
Wintermuse--
I can't give hat-tips at RCU, but don't be terribly surprised to find items you send me cropping up there occasionally!
WMB--
Thanks, Mac, but hopefully you're still saving the REALLY good ones for PB!
I can't offer any editorial comment at RCU, so don't worry! ;-)
Oh, OK. No big deal. Just thought it odd the referral ended up over there, instead of here. And you can't make editorial comments? Huh. Yah, I agree with Bear--save the best ones for here, so comment can be provided as needed.
RCU is six-word headlines only. No essays or editorials -- just links.
