An interesting tetrahedral formation on Mars . . .

This feature certainly does honor to Wil's intelligent, questing mind.

I'm interested in the way there seems (at least as far as we can tell with the image at this resolution) to possibly be raised edges separating the faces of the tetrahedron.

Eyeballing it it doesn't seem to me that the faces are actually congruent, but it may be that this could change if the geometry hasn't been tweaked as definitively as it might. Or that there could be some mathematical relationship between the faces.

Take the line running down from the peak a little further, down toward 7 o'clock. I'm getting sufficient digital artifacts to not want to entirely trust what I'm seeing at first glance, but it looks like there is a partial cross shape there that runs parallel to the line coming down from the peak.
