I snapped this photo of a latte a few days ago. I'm not sure, but I think I might have received a couple Weird Looks.

I personally enjoy the "Weird Look" syndrome on occassion. I just smile, and sometimes perform the required addtional eccentricity to comple my mission, which is world cognitive dissonance and recovery!
Was this a coffee you made, Mac?
Legions are dying to know!
Mac -- Your lattes are generating occult symbols (here the Tree of Life). I believe, therefore, that the universe is trying to recruit you to be a Magus.
Occultishly occludingly speaking, Magus, Schmagus. We are the other white meat!
To complete your world mission, wintermuse, you too must become a Magus.
No, I didn't make this. (If only I could!)
The Weird Looks are fine by me. I think everyone *else* is perfectly unfathomable, so I'm sure I give my fair share of uncomprehending glances in exchange.
Occult symbolism in espresso beverages? That deserves to be in a story!
Mac -- If I saw an image like that in my coffee, I'd be on the next plane to Katmandu or some such guru locale. I'm really not kidding. I think it's major sign of grace.
Mr. Bear--
Go check YouTube and do a search on coffee art--much cheaper than a ticket to Katmandu (unless you go as a tulpa, or spirit beam,,,), and you'll not only lots of other coffee surface mods, but also just how to do it a few easy lessons.
Then, offer to make coffee for a few close occultist friends of yours, and while their chatting, patiently waiting for their coffee, use a small flat plastic wand to create a few designs as required. Then await their shocked appreciation when you serve them. Either that, or their cowering, abject fear and groveling for mercy. That would be fun, too! 8^)
Oddly coincidental, there is post here commenting on the ongoing drone follies, and in Gibson's book "Pattern Recognition", the "Footage" is watermarked by steganographic numbering schemes secretly to trace the overall flow patterns of the video clip "Footage" and, pause (drum and drone roll, please...)--the company that does this stego watermarking is called...Sigil. Ha!
