Jesus actor mistaken for the real deal

"James Caviezel has been swamped with requests to perform miracles by Mexican fans who believe he really is Jesus Christ."

I strongly suspect there's a piercing observation to be made here about media, reality and the role of religion in post-Industrial Light and Magic society, but I have other things to do at the moment.
