Disturbing shuttle discoveries

"The space station is one of those ventures that seemed like a good idea at the outset but continues mainly due to force of inertia. While it produces little if any cutting-edge science, it also fails to inspire Americans with the romance of space exploration, since it merely chugs along in orbit, with a small crew performing experiments that could be done by machines."

Danica, Danica, Danica.

You think you can just waltz in to one of the greatest Paranormal Web Blogs in history, the incomparable Posthuman Blues, and with just a shake of your pretty blond hair, and a flash of you big gray eyes sweep the legendary Bloger Mac Tonnies of his fee---

Hey Mac, where you going? Mac? …Mac?

Where did he go?

He will never come back to us now."

I *almost* deleted Danica's, um, "contribution," but I'm glad I didn't.

Mac -

I can only say that we Americans are (I guess) justifiably proud of our "jaded" nature about spaceflight.

Around the world, people see the space station as a unifying force in a decidedly polarized world; an opportunity to test theories and processes we cannot on earth; and provides the "dream of spaceflight" to those far less jaded.

ISS relies on machines...it IS a machine...but human hands and imagination can accomplish far more than any machine.

"Being there" is just as important as anything we might DO there. IMO

Re. the ISS and Shuttle -- being there is certainy better than not being there. The challenge now is to be there and do something truly fascinating at the same time. I wouldn't think this would be terribly difficult, but it *is* a government agency we're dealing with...

O No Mac, I see a detour in your upcoming journey!
It seems you might be making plans to travel to Flagstaff via Atlanta!
Do not take this detour, it does not matter that Danica likes to, “engage and explore”, or that she will, “Love Ya For Life”, you must arrive in Flagstaff on time Mac!
The interdimensional portal to the Morph worlds located in Arizona will only be open for a short while, Danica has been sent by the Leech Lords to delay you!

I have reconnoitered her blog, there truly is a “NastyBitch in here”, it’s a Trans Dimensional ghoul Mac!

Danica
Variant of DANIKA
From a Slavic word meaning "morning star".

From Aboriginal astronomy;

He had arrived at the home of the Morning Star. The island was the home of the spirits, home of the Mokois. He had arrived at the island of the dead
He walked and found the old woman Marlumbu, who kept the star. At first she didn't want to it to him, but he sang magic songs and he assured her that he only wanted to see if it was the same as the one his group used in their Morning Star ceremony.
He handed the Morning Star back to Marlumbu, who released it into the sky. She controlled the flight of Barumbu by holding the string and allowing the Star to travel all over the islands. She cried out directions to the Star to tell it where to travel
Suddenly the string started to hum. It was the sign that the Sun was coming up.

Wow! Mac, the Morning Star controls the portal, so forget what I first said, this is new information!

Mac, Itlooks like you are going to have to get laid by Danica, in order to open the portal.
The resistance needs you Posthuman One, the Atlanta detour is now authorized, get down to business!
