"58% of the US adult population never reads another book after high school"
Whaaa??? I really have a hard time believing this. Not a single book? Never? Not even a nice, healthy, sleazy "literary porn" book? No "self help" or dieting books? This just doesn't pass my smell test.
Are the days of the saying that "Americans like their books fat and their women skinny" really gone?
I think I might have to agree with you, JohnFen...I certainly see a *lot* of Tim LaHaye books making the rounds ;-)
And hasn't everyone (but me) read "The Da Vinci Code"?

I'm not alone! (Is there a support group?)
I've never seen the movie or read the book either. Frankly, I'm not terribly interested in it. Holy Blood, Holy Grail is a great read, though, and it's not even intended to be fiction.
