Ozone Hole's Lessons for Global Warming

The delayed recovery also shows the fragility of the planet, and the uncertain time frames for its recovery from abuse at human hands - an important warning to politicians stalling on taking immediate action on climate change.

I can't imagine if ever the ozone layer would be back in 15 years time, I think it will be a longer year than the expected, since people are still burning garbages, vehicle pollution and industrial pollution are still present. I just wish that the world would not end just like in the movie, The Day After Tomorrow. Sigh... If only people would care about the environment...

If only people would care about the environment...

I suspect they will -- once it starts killing people in sufficient numbers.
