I seem to recall a scene from "Total Recall" where Quaid takes a robocab only to be treated to an incredibly smartass robot cabbie. I thought it was one of the funnier scenes in what is, really, a pretty clever movie....

You're totally right -- "JohnnyCab"! I can't believe I didn't think of that.
I see a ton of tire wear on asphalt streets. Concrete will also tear a tire up. Goodyear and Yokohoma will be happy.
I do like the concept thoug. No more door dings!
