He hosts a full moon mediation every month, but drum/dancing sessions as well as figure drawing.

I'd be all over that that CoSM all the time if I lived in NY..

I like the work, but I find his rap to be smarmy. If art is to be truly inspirational, I don't believe that needs to be pointed out to the viewer, particularly by the artist that creates it!

Grey's a bit zealous-sounding in the video, but I'll cut him some slack; I'd probably seem pretty self-congratulatory too if I had a camera in my face and was asked to justify my work.

Besides, Grey's paintings really *are* compelling. "It's not bragging if it's true."

perhaps years of people telling him how awesome his work is, has taken it's toll. I know from reading "Sacred Mirrors" that he's really of the artist mentality, and has worked for years to express his view of the world.

He's more than just show.

Sorry to disagree guys, not with the appreciation of the work, just the rap. The bit about 9-11 and the towers and Bush and the terrorists, and his inclusion of it in his description just smacks of snake oil to me. I just don't need that. I guess, like you, I do find the work fascinating and I do understand the amount of work involved. It can stand alone.

And Mac, I've heard you on broadcasts, you couldn't be less self-congratulatory if you tried.
