I finally listened to Morrissey's "Ringleader of the Tormentors." Delightful. Moments of great under-the-radar wit, an authentic sense of tragedy and stirring instrumentals to boot. "You Are the Quarry" was just a warm-up.

I think "Quarry" was more easily accessible - "Tormenters" takes a few listens to appreciate, but it pays off.

A welcome trend from Moz's trend of a good solo album followed by a bad one.

Yes, he seems to have hit his stride. (Although I always really liked "Maladjusted.")
