Egads...You spend a term and a half signing every hunk of pork and every law that crosses your desk...even those you have no intention of obeying (signing letters)...and you finally put your foot down on THIS!?
Bush seems intent on "defending" all manner of things except the one thing he SWORE to defend...that yellowed, (quaint?) document that supposedly defines his office.
If we are lucky (and Congress tips back Democrat), he'll spend the last year of his presidency too busy defending HIMSELF to do any more harm.
If we're luckier still, he'll do as good a job at that as he has at anything else.
