But having never seen this movie, I might have to go rent it now.
It's worth renting! A classic. Go for the restored DVD.

An oldie from my local indie theater days. Usually paired with Liquid Sky or some other "avant garde" offering.
I loved the story, and especially the dance routine with the "alien fetuses" dropping all around. Disturbingly hilarious.
And Lynch is a Texan. We breed some weird ones down here on occasion. In his case, I think that's a good thing.
His weather reports are pretty fun, too.
