Mac, you'll probably hate me for this but honestly, I've never gotten the whole Morrissey love.

He just comes off as the worst kind of "poseur". A lot of pseudo-angsty fluff, but with no real substance. Frankly, this little video clip doesn't do much to change my mind. :oP

I think the single most important thing about Morrissey that a lot of people don't get is that he's funny. And he knows it. He's got an incredible knack for self-deprecating humor and irony; there's more to him (and his music) than his facade would suggest.

OK. I'll give you that. It seems like a lot of the stuff he does seems to be a bit tongue in cheek. :o)
