The Jerk Across the Hall has received his written warning for ignoring his verbal warning for two consecutive nights. (Evidently this guy has a problem with the concept of cause and effect.)

All it takes now is one more complaint and he's gone. I'm pretty sure that if he gets evicted my car's going to get smashed. So I don't want him evicted; I want him to shut up -- knowing full-well he won't.

How I dearly wish I was not here.

Assuming that if he's been a jerk so far, that his last chance will come pretty soon. In which case, might it be possible for you to find somewhere else to park your car until he and his stuff are out? Somewhere that isn't on his usual route to and from the building where it might be seen.

Do you have an up to date copy of everything on your computer stashed at Mom's, in case he decides to break in and really fuck things up?

Sounds like he's close to gone, at least. People like him generally take their frustrations out on "authority" figures, so I imagine if anything, he'll take it out on the management. Here's hoping he's gone, quietly, soon.
