Personally I think it looks fine. You went from a vacation from the site into a total redo. Changes it seems are afoot.

Mac said...: I have to say that I like it -- although I miss the banner graphic, which just didn't seem to fit the new template. And if the blog's loading faster that's naturally a big plus.

If I can find a minimalist graphic to put in place of the old banner I probably will. In the meantime, I *think* I'll stay with this.

What? You don't have your content backed up and archived off line?

What if blogger has some major meltdown? And you do lose all those years of work/content? I really strongly advise you to, in some manner, back up all of your content. Just to be safe.

Thinking about that, there is a moribund blog whose content, including comments, I would like to try to archive--does anyone know how best to go about that?

The user whose blog I'm concerned about stopped adding new content to in May of last year, and apparently abandoned it, and in some ways it's very significant. I've tried to archive it in Word, but that doesn't work very well--extremely tedious.

How would I best archive it? Any recommendations?; 9:54 PM
