Aw man, that's just rude. And here I was just telling Paul to embrace the baldness, as cool chicks find it totally awesome. :o)

But as W.M.Bear says, if you haven't seen tne Blue Man Group you really should. I've seen their Vegas show three times, and each time is a real experience. The visual experience mixed with audience participation makes for one hell of a show. It's amazing the kinds of sounds they can make out of a few pieces of PVC. :o)

I've always been curious to see Blue Man Group. One of these days...

As for baldness, my hairline has never been that great; I'm not losing my hair; I never really *had* hair! (Having a high forehead doesn't especially help.)

In any case, I've been deliberately bald and really enjoy it. I have no reservations about pulling a Michael Stipe and shaving it all off if it starts thinning in the next several years.

Michael Stipe??

Ugh.

Now, if you had said Jean Luc Picard I would have been with you 100%!

BTW, Blue Man Group are great. Veronica and I caught them in Vegas at the Luxor back in Nov. 2004.

They're as good as Cirque de Soleil (which I saw in Aug. 2004 with the missus), although different.

If anything in Vegas was worth the money, BMG and CDS were.

I thought you *used* to like R.E.M. ... although I bet you still would. "Around the Sun" is great.

BTW, you've sold me on Blue Man Group.

I still like REM - well, pre-Monster REM at least. Document would be one of my 30 favourite albums ever. My old bands used to cover "The One I Love" (one of the very few covers we ever did).

I was talking about Stipe's appearance / haircut.

Which reminds me: Now that I'm moved in (with a stereo), I can listen to Julia's Rain!
