If it was sucked under into a cave or something, there would have to be some sort of vacuum pulling it, and a rather LARGE size to empty the whole lake [ wouldn't that also imply that somewhere at teh end of this cave there has to be another opening - and wouldn't the lakes contents purge there??]
... could this be something akin to what is "coming" for our planet in terms of weather control, plates shifting, serious forthcoming earth events? I just don't know enough about the area this happened in, I suppose I will research it some now.
