Hey, nothing wrong with steampunk-related posts, as long as they're good ones. It is, after all, your blog to do with what you see fit.
Having said that, though, I don't see this post as having steampunk connotations at all, as the term is generally defined. I see this as more like... chronopunk!

What did Steampunk ever do to you?
Seriously. I want to know what you find wrong with it that you'd avoid posting anything about it.
It's not that I find anything remotely "wrong" with steampunk; it's just that it's fast becoming something of a cliche. It seems to be losing some of its original imaginative, er, "steam."
