Japan scans skies for alien life

"The five-day search is being done jointly at the Nishi-Harima Astronomical Observatory, and the state-run Mizusawa Astrogeodynamics Observatory in northern Japan."

Five whole days? In that case, success is virtually ensured.

At least it's an optical search. And they're aiming at a SETI candidate signal, supposedly. Maybe we'll get *really* lucky...
