Let's start 2008 in the most kitschy vein imaginable. (The announcer's voice and lurid intonation are priceless.)

Aaaah, sweet cheesecake burlesque - I love it so. Betty Paige was one hell of a girl.

You're right about the voice-over, though! :)

Wow...the voice over, this line in particular...

"Who does 3D two better"...?

brilliant, I am in awe! I don't think I will ever be able to forget that line

Plus, Betty Paige in 1955 in full color. I feel like I'm a better person just by having seen and heard this clip.

Fifties announcers ALL sound like that, I think, pretty much. It was like, you know, part of that whole dorky fifties style. (I think it's the same announcer who did "Duck and Cover" -- though this is more like "Uncover and Duck"!)

With the notable exception of Betty Paige who was and shall always remain a total fox. Amazingly, her videos are still worth an extended look....

This is when women had REAL bodies. Round, interesting and explorable. Like an unknown country full of mysterious delights ;) If women could only appreciate what men actually want vs what the tabloids make them think we want.

And one token drag queen. LOL

Who can now ever forget such a classy line? This place is beginning to feel like some smoky Elk's Club for old boys. Ask yourself what women may want, while you're at it.

Pardon me whilst I vomit.

Mac... that was awful. A man of your intelligence debasing himself in this fashion is truly depressing. I can only assume the orgasm you got from this was short and mild. Serves you right.

"Tempest Storm is the girl with the 40 plus bust, who goes 3D two better! Tempest Storm in her boudoir is every man's dream girl..."

If we're going to recognize the narrator's "classiest" line, we should at least be responsible for getting the unforgettable quote correct, eh?

The video was very funny, Mac. I appreciate the kitsch factor--this is a 50's classic.

And, hey, TonyF, chill out, man. That was a rather nasty comment for some goofy vid that was just for fun, ya' know? Sheesh, how politically correct do we have to be around here, anyway? For someone who runs a blog about the "Zombie Apocalypse", I'd think you'd have more of a sense of humor. Let Mac be Mac.

Let Mac be Mac.

Sounds like a protest chant! Take it to the streets, people!

I suppose the ironic tone I was aiming for didn't quite hit the mark. Apologies. I like fun.

BTW, that zombie apocalypse blog isn't for fun... it's completely and 100% serious. Wake up and start splitting heads before we have to leave you behind.

Now, _there's_ that ironic tone I was looking for. You _do_ like to have fun. Whew! Had me worried there for a mo...8^}

So, I do not actually imagine it may work.
