I can't help but to find it disappointing that the 5 minute "Disney/Pixar" commercial will probably end up being more exciting and provocative than any information that will actually be sent back by the Phoenix probe in the next couple of years.
I don't know about that. I think something might be found this time.
But the probe has to survive first, almost half of Mars probes (altogether) fail to reach their targets.
It would be pretty sad that we couldn't perform a successful powered landing on Mars 32 years after Vikings I & II.
Why do I get the feeling this probe will crash and burn?
