"If this thing is confirmed and it is real, it will be incredibly important," says Aguirre, "on the same order of discovery as the realisation that those little smudges on the sky are other galaxies. The most important thing it would tell us is that the standard picture is broken in some way. And the most exciting thing it could tell us is that there are other universes."

Another Universe? I can barely handle the one we have!
Quantum physicists are like car mechanics: they can tell you anything they like and all you can do is pretend you know what they are talking about while wondering for how much they are probably ripping you off.
What amazes me more however is that, unlike with car mechanics, there are actually people who still understand all of this stuff.
I should have added this to my previous comment, but check out this TED video: Garrett Lisi: A beautiful new theory of everything, which I thought was equally fascinating.
(This Ted site is a goldmine, there have been several videos that have nearly brought me to tears.)
great site, keep it up the good work.
Well I didn't understand so much the idea but talking a little bit about the galaxies I think those universes are inaccessible and under-researched 'cause not all scientist understand this different and distant worlds a 100%.
You have posted good and different topic. Really its too good. Thanks for sharing. Keep on posting...
