You're missing the simple fact that art doesn't have to be "about" anything. Mirroring the flow of the artist's consciousness is more than enough to constitute an engaging, useful perspective on the nature of our reality, both shared and subjective.
Oké? Oh, Finlandia! You were instructed to exterminate all rational thought.
