Crikey. I didn't realize what that interesting-looking mobile phone hack actually was until I looked at the file properties.
I did a spit take at first, because I was under the impression that your triptychs were made up of photos you'd taken yourself!
The cell phone pic reminds me of the Nokia employed anthropologist who gave a presentation at Lift09, about the 'research' her company conducted in three different slums (a favella in rio, a flood prone area of mumbai and somewhere in ghana with lots of liberian refugees). They ran a competition where they asked groups of locals to design their ideal cell phone. Answers such as 'solar powered' were very popular.
With that in mind, your third pic suggests a very black comedic story in either Iraq or Afghanistan where the 'research' reveals a need for IED detonators.
Now that I'm thinking about, I think she did mention something about bomb detectors, perhaps in Mumbai...

Well, the others *are* original photos. This was an excuse to offload some images from my hard-drive.
Ah, so those aren't bomb hits, but bong hits, such as those you endured daily in your former suburban abode. Kansas city seems a lot like Vancouver!
Oh wait, I misunderstood what you meant... the other *sets* are original photos.
