I'm not much of a "Star Wars" fan. Regardless, I manage to laugh aloud every time I view the delightful alternate-universe Saul Bass intro below.

I hope "Blade Runner" gets the next faux-Bass treatment. (Any animators reading this?)

That Bassimulant treatment of Star Wars was a hoot--I'd like to see a match-up between a title sequence of "Blade Runner" done both by a Bassite animator, and another done by an Albert Broccoli, 007-style animator.

I can just see an aging Harrison Ford, dressed in tuxedo, luxuriating by a Monte Carlo baccarat table, uttering the immortal (?) words, "Deckard. Rick Deckard. I like my replicants shaken, really hard, not stirred. Oh, and by the way? I want more life, fucker!"

Heh. 8^}

Actually, I'm dying for an entirely CG sequel to Blade Runner. Something on the order of visual quality comparing to Beowulf.
