Moms Battle Genetic Engineering

"'Just because science can, should science? And how far will they go?' said Currie, who is a former member of pop group the Thompson Twins.

"MAdGE has posted five ads in Auckland and two in Wellington. The billboards will stay up until the end of October.

"The public response has been mixed. MAdGE has gotten some complaints from people who find the billboards offensive.

"'It is definitely degrading to women, but more degrading to women is putting human genes in milk,' Currie said. 'It's punk art.'" (Via Cyborg Democracy.)

I agree and I disagree. I disagree about genetic engineering that puts human genes in cow milk. That's just wrong and has a potential health hazard of catastrophic proportions.

On the other hand, I'm all for genentic engineering that will supply the world with four breasted women. No milk machines needed, that's degrating. I don't need technology...I can fine on my own thanks.

Interestingly, the image of the four-breasted woman hooked to the milking machine recalles classical statues of Aphrodite with multiple (actually about 1 dozen) breasts. I'm amazed that people haven't used these statues to argue that the ancients actually practiced a form of genetic engineering like this. In any case, we're definitely looking at an archetypal image of the feminine here.

The image is not degrating. There is a message on that image, even if I don't agree with the totality of it. Some people should be examined by psychologists ... after all, you see into things what you want to see ...

I seem to recall about ten years ago that a machine had be invented that would take in most of what a cow would consume and would use it to make milk. Cost and time was about the same as the living machine and without the danger of hormones, excessive anti-bioticts and god knows what else.

This pic reminds me of the movie Total Recall and the woman with three breasts. Chris Rock said "And they called her a mutant. Like having three breasts was a bad thing."

“Women are ether cats or birds, the best they can hope for is to attain the status of cows”

Of course this whole woman being milked image is but a holographic information-energy matrix, and your, my, and Nietzsche’s thoughts and emotions towards it are of the same matrix, and I, having become the daemon , dropping the ego monkey man self identity perspective point, have lost the personality-emotion-opinion Pavloven reactive module, and so remain curiously unaffected.

All but a distraction, mere bit o data in the grid.
Does it have anything at all to do with my hacking the matrix?
With me escaping this 3D prison world?
How is this image going to strengthen my soul-spirit, increase my time travel phase shifting ability, expand my meme repellent field?
All in all, a bit of a red herring, the shock value finding no material in me for the shock waves to affect.

PS; This is the emotion hook trigger that the photo is supposed to set off;

“The changing information which we experience as world is an unfolding narrative. It tells about the death of a woman. This woman, who died long ago, was one of the primordial twins. She was half of the divine syzygy. The purpose of the narrative is the recollection of her and of her death. The Mind does not wish to forget her. Thus the ratiocination of the Brain consists of a permanent record of her existence, and, if read, will be understood this way. All the information processed by the Brain—experienced by us as the arranging and rearranging of physical objects—is an attempt at this preservation of her; stones and rocks and sticks and amoebae are traces of her. The record of her existence and passing is ordered onto the meanest level of reality by the suffering Mind which is now alone. This loneliness, this anguish of the bereaved Mind, is felt by every constituent of the universe. All its constitutes are alive. Thus the ancient Greek thinkers were hylozoists. “
Exegesis from the novel VALIS by Philip K. Dick 1981

Gerald, what are you talking about, seriously?

I can't understand your philosophy.

With a milking machine attached?

(A kind of visionary-hallucinatory being conjured up by Tibetan lamas. Some ETs may be tulpus -- actually tulpAs.)
