I really like the clean style. But as far as the punch-you-in-the-face white background, my eyes started to hurt after reading for a little while...like its almost too bright.
I liked the old PB better. Wah.

Whiners. ;-)
Ok, there's clean and then there's a devolution back to 56k newsgroup visuals ;)
Quite honestly, the trend towards hyper-minimalism is starting to bug me a bit. I'm a designer by trade and I know Da Vinci said "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." but there is a limit to that. I know, I know, everyone is on graphic overload from years of abuse by porn design hacks ;)I think there's a middle ground somewhere but Mac...this is way to minimal dude ;)
Constructive criticism: If you're going for that "minimal thang" you might consider either a subtle monotone gradient or extremely light cool gray (playing contrast to your banner) down the center body. If that doesn't work for you a single point keyline that is barely visible bounding everything might do the trick as well. Right now it feels like all the text is about to fly off of either side of my monitor. Nothing is anchoring it in place and I'm losing the perceived grid.
Positive ranting: Love your site by the way. Long time silent reader here. Keep up the amazing job!

The blue is back! All hail the blue. I'm with Anonymous. That all white was just a little too stark.
