It took this long? Im stunned.
"Marriage is an institution in which interpersonal relationships (usually intimate and sexual) are acknowledged by the state or by religious authority. It is often viewed as a contract."
So unless you have a certain affinity with the state or religion, "marriage" does not make any sense anyway. With this in mind, I don't see what's wrong or peculiar with this, apart from the fact that it is pointless in view of the fact that I don't think you can get alimony from a manga character.
