Al-Qaeda is watching the U.S. stock market's downward slide with something akin to jubilation, with its leaders hailing the financial crisis as a vindication of its strategy of crippling America's economy through endless, costly foreign wars against Islamist insurgents.
And at least some of its supporters think Sen. John McCain is the presidential candidate best suited to continue that trend.

What does Christianity, 911 and The Federal Reserve have in common?
Playlist: Zeitgeist II: Addendum
The addendum deals with the money system, very enlightening.
After watching this documentary you'll see articles like this in a totally different light.
The 12 parts add up to 2 hours, but they are all worth it. The last half could be considered futurism, if that might help you get interested. ;)
Here's the first one btw: Playlist: ZEITGEIST.Remastered.Edition.2007
(Do not be put off by the opening which is overly dramatic.)
Sorry for the double post but here is the same thing in one file on Google Video:
Zeitgeist: Addendum
FWIW, I didn't post this because I think McCain has the slightest thing to do with Al-Qaeda. But I found the irony of watching foaming-at-the-mouth McCain enthusiasts casually assume Obama has "terrorist" connections whole their own candidate is *publicly endorsed* by a known terrorist organization simply hilarious.
As for "Zeitgeist": there's a rumor the movie is propaganda for an organization called the Venus Foundation. I know next to nothing about either; I'm just tossing it out there.
Yeah "Zeitgeist" is tricky. Full of half truths and interpretations. I don't think its motivated by a dark agenda or anything but its more of an op-ed tainted piece than anything.
That said I have no doubt that there is a hidden social hierarchy ;)
