I laughed in spite of myself when chuckling videographers set fire to Tickle Me Elmo. But somehow this just feels wrong.

I'm sure some people will say, "They're just stupid toys, doesn't mean nothin', yada-yada-blah-blah..."

Of course this speaks volumes about our inner nature, never far from the surface.

I'm not as concerned about the "feelings" of the Pleo as I am about the cries of distress from the children in the crowd who think of the Pleo as being alive.
