I've added yet more photos to my Flickr stream. From now on I doubt that I'll blog new photos; Flickr will suffice, at least for the most part. Also, I've decided to pick up a respectable digital camera instead of relying on my cellphone. (I found myself in a Wal-Mart in Laramie and was surprised at how inexpensive they've become.)

Is this a bust of the great, hermaphroditic pharaoh Akhenaten?

It's nice to be able to shoot photos with a high resolution and a zoom lens. Some digital cameras are indeed a real bargain at this point. The unfortunate part is that it adds more clutter to your kit. We really do need one device to suit our needs and do it with some quality and flexibility. In the mean time, while we wait, I guess you'll have to carry the extra stuff.

Nope, not a hermaphrodite -- at least as far as I know! My nook of Kansas City (Missouri) is an interesting fusion of Spanish and art deco architecture, so you never know what you might happen across.

Sorry.

Now, whoever puts out the first 7 to 10 megapixel, zoom lens-equipped (even if just digital), cell phone for a semi-reasonable price, with video/sound clip recording option, USB2 PC-connection, and user-expandable memory card, will have a really hot item.

Sort of like the above... uh, well, let's just say she can keep her royal headress on, but I don't know about the... hey, are those wings?!

Sorry.
